Eumundi
Eumundi – is located just off the Bruce Highway at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast. This picturesque township is flavoured with an abundance of cultural attractions. Many of the buildings that were constructed between 1890-1930 are still standing today, creating a distinct colonial atmosphere with a unique appeal. The original Eumundi bank has today been converted into an innovative arts and crafts complex. The Eumundi museum has a substantial collection of historical artefacts and documents. The world famous Eumundi Market is a Sunshine Coast icon and is held every Wednesday and Saturday. Originally established in 1979, today the market comprises over 500 stalls with everything from street theatre, artistic creations, scrumptious food, palm reading and more. Eumundi also has a thriving restaurant and café scene, which flourishes on market days.
