New Year’s Eve 2012 Enjoy a spectacular evening of music, dancing and fireworks from the best vantage point in Mooloolaba; on board Whale One. Watch all the action avoiding the crowds whilst sipping champagne and cruising the canals and finishing the evening by anchoring in the bay for the finale. Enjoy the atmosphere with live music, great food and fantastic uninterrupted views of the fireworks. Mooloolaba’s Christmas Boat Parade is fun for everyone!
Bring your family, bring your friends. Pack a picnic. Get yourselves ready for a magical, floating light spectacular! Imagine – loads of colour, pretty Xmas lights, entertainment and more.
Do you own a boat, small or big, and want to be in the night-time parade? Enter online, join in and you could win the Best Dressed Boat prize!
Do you live on the Mooloolah canals* and want to show off your house? Enter online and be in the running for the Best Dressed House prize (*Please check your house eligibility online before entering).
All entry fees will be donated to Sailability Sunshine Coast (a non-profit volunteer run organisation giving sailing experiences for disabled children and adults)

2012 Customer Services Awards Function - nominations for these local customer service people are open again! From 1st November - 31st November, if you have a brilliant customer service experience in Mooloolaba, we want to know about it!
The winners of the awards will be announced at our Annual Service Awards event, on Tuesday 11th December, at See Function Centre, The Wharf, Mooloolaba.
The Mooloolaba Customer Service Awards were initiated by Mooloolaba Business & Tourism to celebrate and acknowledge the great job that customer service staff do in Mooloolaba, and this is the fifth year that the Awards have been running. Last year, over 250 nominations were received for people in the four different categories, with 52 different Customer Service individuals vying for the top honour.
