  • Qld Garden Expo

    Queensland Garden Expo is a ‘must see’ in 2014 for green thumbs and novice gardeners alike. Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour, this three day expo is Queensland’s premier gardening event attracting 34,000 visitors from all over Australia and New Zealand. Some of Australia’s leading Gardening experts take part in three days of lectures, demonstrations and workshops.  Come spend the weekend visiting the Queensland Garden Expo and exploring our naturally refreshing Sunshine Coast region – return home relaxed and inspired! 

  • Radio Controlled Boat Racing

    Mid-week the radio controlled yachts are on the river in front of The Wharf Tavern Mooloolaba for a lively afternoon of racing on Tuesday 1st July. Entry is open to anyone with an 10M class yacht. This is a very popular event for the sailors and visitors as they enjoy the ambiance of the Tavern and the chatter of the ‘thumb’ sailors battling it out over up to 12 races.
